I am a big believer in living every moment of your life with an attitude of gratitude, which is why I LOVE Bliss List Friday!! That is the day that I take a moment to reflect over all of the awesome things, and little things, and all the things in between that make life BLISSFUL that have happened during my week!!!
This week it is a little tricky to come up with a list because I have been sick at home for the past three days, but I am going to dig down deep and see what I can come up with! 🙂
My Bliss List:
- I am thankful to have a comfy bed, with scrumdiddlyumptious pillows, and an uber-comfy goose down feather comforter!
- I have been listening to the Right Brainer’s Business Summit every day this week, hosted by Jennifer Lee, the author of The Right Brain Business Plan – pure GENIOUS and SOOOOOO INSPIRING!
- Last night my niece and nephew spent the night (their mama is at an out of town conference), there was a moment after the kids fell asleep that my sweetie and I had a sweet moment where we just watched them sleep. They are growing so fast, and I am just so in love with their sweet little spirits!! I am one LUCKY AUNTIE!!!
- I am so thankful that I have a job that is flexible enough that it allows me to take some time to be sick and just heal! I realize not everyone has that in their lives!
- I have an AMAZING husband who does such a GREAT job taking care of me, even when I am whining, moping, and really don’t know what I want or need to feel better! He is such a trooper!!
I realize that this is a short post, but even after reading it to myself, I just feel so much better!!! Having gratitude for what you have instead of focusing on to what you don’t have, really does change your attitude if not your ENTIRE LIFE!!!
Is that too melodramatic???
Hmmmm…that’s ok, I’ve decided that sometimes melodramatic might not be a bad thing!!
