I am heading off to bed, but I told you that I would post my favorite smoothie that my husband makes me for breakfast!!! YUM!! I get excited just thinking about it!!!
Ok, first you will need to gather the ingredients:
1 cup of frozen strawberries
1 large banana
2 cups of skim milk
2 teaspoons of flaxseeds
4 tablespoons of agave (or honey/splenda to sweeten)
1 handfull of ice
Put it all into a blender and blend until creamy smooth!!! Pour into 2 large glasses and enjoy!!! This amount makes enough for 2 people!!!
My husband and I like to split this into insulated coffee travel cups as we are running out the door before work – that way we both have a quick, convenient, and HEALTHY start to our day!!! These will then stay nice and thick for a little over an hour!!! This is one of my FAVORITE breakfasts – THANK YOU, SWEETIE!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!
Oh, and half of this recipe equals about 5 pounts!!! 🙂
