Chunky Dunker’s Night!

Good evening!

Welcome to another exciting night of Chunky Dunker’s night!!! A club for people from all walks of life to get together online to support one another in their health and fitness goals, whether it be to lose a few pounds, or to do one situp; I am very happy to welcome you here every Wednesday evening, where we β€œmeet” in the comments section to catch up, share hints, tips, and ideas and to just encourage each other as we go through our health &Β  fitness path together!!

Tonight, I thought I would talk about Making Progress!

Today I have been on Weight Watchers for one week, and in that time I have lost 3.8 pounds – YEAH!!! I’ll take it!!!

I am not exactly sure HOW I lost that much weight, I really didn’t do so well tracking, but maybe it was because it was in the back of my mind that I really could get healthy if a I make smart choices!! πŸ˜‰

I haven’t done much in the way of exercising much more than normal either. I have a knee that I really tweaked going up the stairs to my office the other day, so I am going to get back into the pool and start working it out!! I also have a belly dancing, and a plus size Pilates DVD that I want to get into the habit of using when the weather is not cooperating outside! Once the days get a little longer, I will be able to start doing my daily walks outside again – that will be good!!!

Also, because of the book I am reading, Living the Savvy Life, I have really become inspired to try and eat at home more often, which means getting creative in the kitchen! I know how to cook, pretty well (if I may say so), but generally I don’t enjoy it! Too many years of HAVING to cook, makes cooking not so much fun now. That is, EXCEPT when I GET TO cook!! That somehow feels different. Especially when it is just for my sweetie and I. I generally look forward to those cooking nights!!

This evening, I assembled a healthy dinner this evening of a chicken strip, covered in lots of fresh spinach, a couple of sprays of Ranch vinagrette, all wrapped up in a large whole wheat tortilla. It was incredibly satisfying!!! πŸ˜‰ Tomorrow evening, I will be making us something very Olive Garden-ey, but WAAAAAY healthier!! I can’t wait, it should be fun!! πŸ˜‰

Well, I seem to really be going on-and-on here this evening, so without further ado, I will meet you in the comments section of tonight’s post so we can all chat!! πŸ˜‰

Have a FABULOUS evening! :-)

β€œIf you want to have a different life, live differently!”

    Hi sister!
I only had that one last week on what Thursday or Friday and that was only a 20 oz diet soda.

There was a couple times throughout my week that I really wanted a soda. But I did not do it. Plus I am broke as shattered glass.

As for eating…not too bad. Chris and I polished our goodies in less than 24 hrs. Chris was like…is that all the fudge he sent,…LMBO!

NOt so impressive. Leftovers from the a few nights ago. I literally have only a few pennies in my wallet. So we are out of a lot of groceries right now. So we are trying to be creative. LUNCH BIT THE DUST! I put on a dressing that ended up not tasting good at all. yuck

I want to make a couple of recipes this weekend, but we will have to see if we are still living at the hotel or my van. LIfe is an adventure!

They surely can schedule that in. Besides it helps us all stay connected and supporting each other.

Yes, I agree, the idea of quitting Chunky Dunker’s all together makes me sad!!! πŸ˜‰ So, if it is just you and me, that is ok with me!! πŸ˜‰

No biggie…Chris hates the thought of packing of the room and cramming it into our storage. But it’s cool now so sleeping in the van would not be a big deal. However I have to find someone to babysit Shadow

This weekend I will send my pen pal another letter. LOL! It has been so busy at work. Came into work on Monday and it was like they opened the flood gates. So I have not had a chance to sit down and write.

I am really hoping to remember to write at least once a week. It is a little hard since you know most everything that goes on in my life because of my blog! I am a bit of an open book!! πŸ˜‰

There is no rule book that says we have to write every week. Now twice a month…that works for me.

I agree, there are no rules, but I am finding it fun so far!! Except for the carpel tunnel – that makes it really hard to write, but I figure it is good exercise!! πŸ˜‰

Lets work on exercise next week. URG I need to make sure I get in at least 16 glasses of water in. I will increase more later.

I agree. Besides I will be excusing myself from my desk a lot more to peepee. LOL
      Okay night sister!

At the end of every post this week, I will leave you a note telling you how many glasses I have had that day, and you can respond by telling me in a comment how many you had – will that work?
