Chunky Dunkers!

Good evening!

Tonight is Chunky Dunker night, an online fitness/weight loss support group. We are always happy to have visitors so please feel free to stop by the comments section and let us know how you are doing with you weight loss/fitness goals, and please feel free to share any hints/tips/ideas that you have found helpful in getting closer to your goals!! The more the merrier!!

I have done pretty well this week. I am down a little over a pound since last week, and honestly, right now – every little bit counts!!

Anyway, this week’s topic is: Trying Something New!

This may be more of a lesson that I am personally needing in my life right now, but it is still a lesson that I think we can all learn from. Be brave! Try something new! Just for the sake of doing something new!

Come on peeps, WE CAN DO IT!!!

Have a FABULOUS evening! ;-)

Good evening, how is everyone’s week going?? Did we come up with any ideas for Alice – she wanted some ideas for some veggie recipes! 😉

I have not found a place to weigh in for awhile. Kinda scared that it will say I gained a few lbs. URG! Hey as long as you are not gaining…your maintaining…that’s good.

Yes, that is so true! Don’t worry, Sis! We all have set backs every now and then, and in the big picture you are still doing GREAT!!! 😉

    Calavasitas…
chop up zucchini and /or sqash with a little water in a pan and steam with some garlic salt with parsley. Then add corn and some shredded cheese. I even add a little chopped cilantro.
    IT IS SOO YUMMY

I am doing better with the soda. I have only had two since last week. I am drinking more water and water with zipfizz in it. YOu can get that at Costco or Sam’s Club. It is like 2500mgs of Vitamin B12. I have to use one vial in two large glasses of water. Too sweet for me.

My favorite kind of veggies are broccoli or asparagus, steamed! but I have just recently gotten a recipe that you take some thick cut bacon, fry it up in a pan, and then take two large hand fulls of brussell sprouts cut in half and brown in bacon drippings – crunchy, caramely, and soooo delicious!! 😉

Evening all. Having a rough day. Pulled a muscle in my shoulder and its hurting a lot. Was really bad this morning so I took some drugs to help and slept most of the day.

Hi Bro! I am so sorry to hear that you are not well. SHIZZLE!!! YOu cannot be doing the same things you did back in the day Jay….you gettin’ old babah!

I know you would sweetie, but money is kind of required to live. I would have to have some SERIOUS prep to make that happen!! AND WE ARE TAKING THE DOGS!! 😉

Chris and I were watching RV with Robin Williams the other night and that was looking pretty good. When I WIN the lottery… everyone gets RV’s and a expense account! Then we all do

Alex, your lottery/RV/Travel blog idea!! Sounds like fun!! Maybe that is what I can do for the next year! Do you think you can make a living doing that?

My next step towards my healthier eating is to buy a George Foreman Grill so that I can cook us meat. There’s no oven here and I can only boil chicken.

I bought myself a little rice cooker from Walmart last payday and have made a lot of rice since. I am loving it with Accent, Peppercinis and peppercini juice sprinkled on it with shredded parmesean on it.

Jennifer has a nice rice cooker, and it is really making me want to have one too!! So much easier to use than our little microwave one that leaks everywhere!!

      1. Alexa Moody

Oh yeah! Time to ditch that one sis! Rice cookers are so cheap really. And no mess in the mic. YEAH! Besides the steam that comes from the rice cooker helps the household too.

My little one I picked up is the perfect size and quantity. Now if I had to feed a family gathering…that would not work. But it’s perfect for me!

      1. Christina Post author

Oh, yes! I know the one you are talking about!! Cool!! 😉 I am pretty sure that is where Jennifer’s came from too. Jen, is it??

I am also going to invest in a vitamix blender. They are spendy but they work so well with what I do with my smoothies. I hate the blender I have now. doesn’t do a good job at all. I miss my girlfriend’s vitamix.

    1. Christina Post author

Never heard of that blender before, I will have to check it out too!! Blending sucks when your blender only does a halfway decent job!

      1. Alexa Moody

Its the blender that Jamba Juice or any restaurant would use. It costs anywhere from $300 to $500 depending on the model you get. Worth the investment. I used Camille’s every single day I stayed with her this year.

Man, bread machines are cool!! I think I would be addicted to baking more and more bread, because fresh bread is THE BEST!!! 😉

    2. Alexa Moody

That is so cool! I would love to make organic healthy bread! Well…gotta run. My show is on…Criminal Minds. LOVE IT! LOVE YOU ALL and sweet dreams my darlings!

      1. Christina Post author
