A Day of Visitors!

Good evening!

I am still under the weather today, but I am determined to snap out of it and get my booty to work tomorrow!

As for who all of these visitors are? Well, early this afternoon my dad and his wife Trudi stopped by for a visit, as they were headed up to Portland, and then on to Seattle. My dad has prostate cancer, and will be getting his radiation treatment up in Seattle. Not the best way to get some vacation time, that is for sure!! But, I was thankful that they stopped for a few hours so we could catch up!! I am hoping he is feeling up to stopping back by as they head home on Friday!

This evening, I am waiting for my husband, my sister, Alice, and Taylynn to get here. Alice and Taylynn will be spending the night and then they will be on their way home tomorrow morning. I hear Taylynn is very talkative, which I just love!! I think 7 year olds should be talkative, it shows inquisitiveness, and that is the perfect age to be curious about EVERYTHING!! I am pretty sure I was!!! 😉

Anyway, things should be mostly back to “normal” by tomorrow – whatever that means!!

Have a FABULOUS evening!!! 😉

Note to Chunky Dunkers: Do just one healthy action more than you did yesterday, the accumulation of days will soon ad up, and before you know it you will be feeling fitter and healthier than you have in a long time!

bad grumpy morning, and no breakfast…can I just catch a break. I feel pulled 5 different directions, and my beautiful littel girl just doesn’t smile for me anymore. I used to say something cute or complimenting to her and she would beam. Mommy magic is getting smaller as she is getting older. I do think she needs some girl time. Auntie Chrissssssie…maybe some time during Spring Break?

Hey sis! You have taken such a huge bite out of life right now and it’s trying to choke you. Take it one day at a time. I think Megan is overwhelmed with to much testosterone in the house and needs your attention…one on one. Take her out to get her toes done, watch a movie (there are quite a few kid movies out there right now) and have lunch with her. If she gets a whole afternoon with you she will be thrilled.
Also! Start putting love notes in her school bag or her journal. Teacher won’t mind. And send her a greeting card in the mail. She will feel special.
      Love you sis!
